Customized for order & re-order ease
MFASCO sells first aid supplies, customized first aid kits and refills. We've been tasked to make it easier and easier for them to maintain and expand the site, and for their various customer types to order and re-order kits and supplies. Unique customizations include: multiple re-order kit lists; Quick Order using just an item id; Quick View, promotional elements, & unique pricing in the item list cell, multiple zoomable images, Refill This Kit, sale pricing, reorder lists, matrix child selection image and spec swap, & more.
Make A Kit allows users to create a customize kit. The user is aided in selecting from items, as choices are made, only items that fit are shown. In the end, our very unique On-the-fly Kit Item creation tool is used; a new kititem is created in NetSuite and added to the cart for purchase. The user also has a page where they can view their unique kit AND re-order items easily. This is unique in their industry.
Education is a big part of their site, so having their Blog within NetSuite is important. We set up very unique templates that allow them to use non-inventory items as blog posts. It looks like a blog, acts like a blog, but is totally within NetSuite so SEO advantages abound! Other unique layouts include the ability to re-fill a kit by clicking on an image of the kit's insides, maintaining and ordering from multiple kit groups, even from the shopping cart.
In 2017, the site was changed to be responsive (using our exclusive Responsive Cells*) and a few more custom features were added and external images (cloudinary) are used throughout. NetSuite's responsive cart and checkout were installed and customized (including displaying shipping methods by price, and our ship method tips) and even disallows certain shipping methods to display based on what is in the cart, and payment methods based on an overdue balance.
The category list and item list templates uses our unique, SiteBuilder filters/facets. Totally responsive – working great on handhelds! Unique add to cart functionality allows the user to easily purchase multiple items from the same page, and see their mini cart no matter how far down they scroll.
Their global search box utilizes our unique Item Suggestion on Search ***. Start typing in text for a search and all results immediately appear and refine as you continue to type.
